im back frm sleepover! it was a rather short and quiet one though. was supposed to be gossiping but we were too tired to talk much/thinking up of a gossiping topic. and we totally ended up falling asleep during the powerpuff girls movie.

went for scgs campfire yesterday! with charis, claire, junice, meijiao, rachel, suat, yeebeng and two sec ones edwina and esther.the campfire was really good! and it was a million times better than the west div bukit panjang one. and all their preparations were super impressive.

anyways the theme of the campfire was fleiva. and the scgs guides put up this fleiva banner that they painted and when miss ng told us that the banner was the size of one classroom, we were all like omigawding away.

the atmosphere was rather good. we sat beside maris stella scouts. and we had so little people who signed up! so although they assigned us three benches, we only occupied two.

oh then when campfire started, there was the cheering competition. we had already decided on v-bomb before the campfire. but then the emcees said that we were given five mins to come up with a cheer with the theme fleiva/flavour.

then we were all like ohnosss. and getting super panicky. then we were thinking of all our cheers and songs and none of them seemed to fit!

then out of the blue, i had a sudden urge to sing the da da da dum grace then after i sang the da da da dum part rachel came in and sang we're sweet inside and outside and we were all like YAY and slowly our cheer began to form. yepps and we came up with the cheer rather fast in abt two mins? i think. because we ended up having a lot of time to rehearse over and over again.

i asked ms ng whether she liked our cheer when campfire was ending and she said it was nice! she was like at least i could hear what u all were cheering.
but we didnt win the prize though ): rg did.


oh then there was the games section. like they will say the neatest scarf or sth then u will have to send one representative out. then the first item was like, The longest hair. then all the sec threes were like looking at each other MINGYI SIGH. and we all had short hair! except for charis and edwina. and charis' hair isnt very long! so we decided not to send anyone.

then the next item was The highest socks. then we were all like HAIYAH GIVE UP ALREADY LAH> all of us were wearing nanyang ankle socks! so while they were judging the highest socks, the nanyang guides were talking abt what would have happened if we had worn our disgusting long socks instead HAWHAWHAW.

okay so next item was The most number of badges. then as usual we decided to give up. then as the other schoold were still sending their representatives out we had this brilliant idea of sending rachel up the stage with her pencil case! since they didnt specify what kind of badges!

and we started laughing so hysterically abt rachel walking up the stage with her badgefull pencil case in her hands that by the time we regained our composure, it was too late to send anybody already.

and oh claire and i were competing to see who can sing there was a stream in one breath. annoying claire. <3

and at the end of the campfire, we cheered UNITE. then walked accompanied charis to the toilet and we were taking pictures outside the toilet! then we chanced upon their wet weather programme for the campfire and we were so super impressed! they even built a campfire structure in the shelter and they placed a lightbulb in the middle of the structure and covered it with cellophane paper. SUPER NICE! my description is rather bad but its really really VERY NICE ! :D

and we went to look at the photo of their 2D gateway cos miss ng wanted us to learn frm them and we took a picture of it! its quite cute lah.

AND OH I FORGOT TO MENTION that they fireballed the campfire. like lighted the campfire with a fireball that travelled down on a wire frm the upper storeys. it was rather exciting :D

then after campfire sec 3s took a bus down to newton circus for supper. although it was already10 pm it was still super crowded. and there was seven of us and most tables only provided five seats. then we found a five-seater table so the rest stayed there while charis, ju and i went to look for a bigger table.

and this uncle came to help us. he was like going out of his way to help us get a 8 seater table. then i was telling , " ohno what are his intentions". and when the table was free we sat down and junice went to get the rest. then the uncle came and started striking up a conversation and he was like " wahh why so late. went to do project ah." and i replied that we went to a campfire. then uncle was like " oh so go campfire must be very hungry right. nahh we have stingray kang kong and fried rice" and he stuffed me the menu. then i was like " erm alright we'll take a look"

then he kept standing at our table and we didnt really fancy bbq seafood! we were there for supper only! but we were damn paiseh cos he helped us get a seat. so we ordered 8 dollars stingray. and uncle seemed so disappointed. then i was telling junice that i felt damn bad, and junuce shared my sentiments so we chased after uncle and changed the order to a 15 dollars one. and we went to get drinks and oyster omelette too!


and we left newton circus at around 11pm.

we caught the last train to punggol! was so exciting. and although it was already like nearing 12 midnight, it still felt like it was 8 plus only. but i started getting really really tired after bathing ):

watched shall we dance today. sexy :D

OHOH when i asked miss ng abt our cheer right. she said thought we were rather good or sth and that she could hear what we were saying. then i told her we stumbled over the second line. and she was like really? then i was like yea the not too spicy just right. and somehow she found the sentence really amusing. AHHAHA WOOTS SPICE GIRLS.

went to hand in my physics file today. didnt go for guitar lesson cos i was already running late and i didnt bother to rush ):
