the chiangmai people are finally back!
adeline, charis, edna, rachel and i rushed down after cca via cab to the airport to pick up.
then we were stopping cabs after cabs to ask if they would ferry all five of us.

went swensens to eat baked rice!
yum yum.
gobbled down our baked rice it was totally scalding.
and we waited like so long for their plane to land lahh.

talked to shuning's mum, wongying's grandma, suat's mum and mj's mum. these were the only parents who came over to talk to us and they just so happened to be related to shuning claire and suat lay lah! it was so thrilling.
guides' parents have loads of initiative.

anyway we drew up a welcome poster for them it was damn dumb lah hahahah.
and we drew cards for each of them : junice, meijiao, shuning, wongying, yeebeng and suat lay.
hui jia de gan jue zhen hao!

anyway the five of us were damn loser today.
first we thought we were late in receiving them and were dashing like crazy in the airport.
and it turned out that we were probably one hour too early.
next, we saw this up arrow that leads to belt 34-38 and we thought it refered to the 2nd level and thus ran up the escalator before realising that we were in the departure hall.
then we trusted edna to go see what belt they would be arriving at and it turned out she went to check the SHANGHAI one and not the CHIANGMAI ONE.

then after welcoming them and after chiangmaiers have left with their parents, the five of us went back to swensens for ice cream.
then it was time to take the mrt back home.
we took from changi airport then to expo then tanah merah.
then we were talking and talking on the train and none of us except for charis realised that we seemed to be at expo again.
then it was only then did we realise that we were back at changi airport AGAIN.
it was so
dumb.
