im so tired now. big YAWN>

TODAY WAS FUN FUN FUN! okay wasnt that fun but it was definitely more fun than compared to the rest of the week. but supper today was FUN! too bad edna couldnt come along.

went for west div campfire today. 302 guides offered to bring juniors along and signed up! shujun and gaomin came and there were also the sec 1 enrichment guides.

met rachel at bus stop in front of monfort at 4.15 and we took 74 down to angmokio and transferred train to choachukang! and when we reached there at 5.15 litang was nowhere in sight! gasps. and litang has never been late before!!! and she finally reached at like 5.30. by then rachel and i had already bought our bubble tea and were happily sipping away.

then we went food junction to eat. edna came and joined us at 5.50 after eating flo's cooking at home. and litang and i ignored edna's where are you messages. and rachel stupidly went to reply her! and when edna called and asked where we were sitting, rachel was like "oh opposite the cactus. the skinny one." and hung up. there were like cacti all over the place! guffaws. but edna found us anyway.

edna finally led us to the correct place. for once.

and we were all waiting in the canteen for ms ng but she was nowhere in sight! until rachel finally decided to sms ms ng after a very long time of waiting and waiting to tell her that we are waiting for her in the canteen, and ms ng replied that she was stuck in a traffic jam and told us to go join the campfire first.

and when we went to the sign up spot, the campfire was already starting! but they still made us climb the gateway, take polaroid shots, sign up, give instructions. and when we finally joined them the other schools were already all cheering and stuff and the campfire was already lit.

ahh and we were standing there like a bunch of idiots cos we didnt know where to sit and there was no empty seats in sight! and only until beixi a bukit panjang guide came and rescue us, then did we get a place to sit down. and ohhh we totally screwed up during the cheering competition. we didnt even know it was a competition! and plus the sec ones dont know our unit cheer! so we had to hurry teach them in like 30 seconds and we just went ahead and cheered!

but im really proud of the sec ones! cos although they learned the cheer like one min ago, they were still really loud and coordinated :DD yippee.

ok the campfire wasnt that fun or exciting cos there wasnt much atmosphere present and most of the time, we were just trying to act enthu and stuff and singing along loudly. i think the sec ones got rather bored. and the emcees werent really successful in helping to liven things up plus the song leaders couldnt really rmb the lyrics!

and the worst thing was that there was going to be some impromtu performance/competition thing! and because we reached there so late we had NO TIME TO PREPARE AT ALL -screams-

and the competition was like u are supposed to draw lots to see which prop u would be given. and because we were like the last school to report there wasnt much choices left. so raychee drew and THANK GOD we got a tambourine. there was like some puppet and hammer left and i have no idea what we are going to do with a puppet or a hammer.

then using that prop, u have to select one of the three songs given (cannibal king, father abraham, 3 little ducks) and modify the song and sing or perform it differently from how it is usually done. and in the paper it states that we can think abt how we are going to perform in THE TIME GIVEN. WHAT TIME GIVEN!!!!! but i guess it was partially our fault cos we reported late.

and when the competition started we got really flustered as we had only just settled down! and we were furiously trying to make use of any time we can get to come up with something but there were like thousands of interruptions like blaring music, getting up to dance hokeypokey, thousand legged worm, etcetc.

and then suddenly IT STARTED RAINING! we were so relieved i tell you. finally there's some time to prepare for the performance. we chose cannibal king because its the only song that everybody more or less knew how to sing. edna litang raychee and i were furiously trying to change the lyrics of cannibal king and shujun and gaomin helped in thinking up actions. AND GAOMIN AND SHUJUN WILLINGLY VOLUNTEERED TO BE THE LEAD DANCERS.

but when we got to the hall, the rain had already stopped and we had to go back to the campfire site. and the competition started again! we were the fourth school to perform.

hey rhymes! kayy we did rather well after all and i totally adore the enrichment sec ones! even though the song was totally stupid and nonsensical, they were still really sporting and enthu and they just sang loudly and proudly :D three cheers!

even though the performance was totally impromtu! AHHHHHH AND THE BEST THING IS THAT

THIS IS CONSIDERED WINNING A DIVISION COMPETITION AND CAN BE LISTED DOWN FOR PNA~ -screaaaams-- muacks to puan noor aishah.

i was rather shocked when the emcees said " in third place, NANYANG GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL"

i think everyone else were rather shocked too.

ohhs and ms ng finally reached during the prize presentation when the campfire was ending. i think she was quite pleased with us cos when she came to join us they annouced the nanyang winning thing. then we made rachel go up to get the trophy. ahahahha then i was like leaning forward and saying "where's ms ng???" and looking around then i turned my head and saw her almost next to me smiling away at me GOT THE WORST SHOCK OF MY LIFE.

we were in third place!!!!!!! BUT I THINK WE DESERVE AT LEAST A SECOND -whineeees-

ok then campfire ended. ohhh there was the games section which lasted for like five mins? some scavenger hunt. and they asked for three people with braids, we didnt have everyone's hair was too short for braiding! four pairs of earstuds, sent edna rachel litang and one of the sec ones even though she was wearing earsticks instead of earstuds. then three dimples! AHHHH I WAS JUMPING UP WIDLY I HAVE DIMPLESSSSS!!!!! then shujun also HAD!!!! and we just dragged litang along although her dimple was very faint. but cos we were seating so far away frm the emcees' stand, three brownies beat us to it. so no prize )): and there were other things but we just didnt have them ):

okay where was i. ohhs end of campfire. eng lee and flo came to pick etts up. and juniors saw the bus in the distance and they dashed for it. and litang raychee and i were too lazy to run so we continued strolling to the bus stop. then suddenly we were like why dont we walk to the mrt INSTEAD! so we turned back and walked in the opposite direction. they were playing hollaback girl! so the three of us were walking and singing along!

and then we walked past this man. and he started to talking to us. " You all just had a campfire? the music was really loud!" and he suddenly started talking abt this miss ong person whom i presume is the guider of that school. and so i was like " erm we are from a different school" then we started explaining to him about how it is a WEST DIVISION campfire. and he was going on and on abt how nanyang is a really good school and protrays a really good image and i was smiling and nodding as he went on and on. i suppose he's the kind of guys that miss ng told us to be wary of. NO TALKING TO STRANGERS X)

then raychee and litang and i went for supper! ate dessert at lot 1 food junction! was really nice :DDD then we bought cheese prata and took lots and lots of pictures! I LOVE TAKING PHOTOS. peeeektures!

then went home yay! i think it would have been more fun if we had a sleepover after the campfire! )))::::::::::: AHAHAHHAHA THAT LOOKED DISGUSTING
